I don't know why my 2 messages did not go through, possibly because each had
2 pics attached. I'm trying again w single pics.

Chris, as usual, lovely photos! And, of course, lovely bloodroot. They're
here for such a short time, you have to just stop what you're doing and enjoy
them.

I have two I'd like to share. They probably aren't considered showstoppers,
but they make MY heart skip a beat so I hope you'll like them, too. The
first is Corydalis x allenii which I ordered from Russell Stafford at Odyssey
Bulbs in 2013. They're looking really nice this year. I'm going to have to
get some more varieties from him to plant this fall. I've attached two
photos. I'll send a separate message for my other plant.

Kitty

Subject: Double bloodroot in my garden this spring

What showstoppers have you guys had in your gardens this year?

This is my double bloodroot, Sanguinara canadensis forma multiplex, that I
planted several years ago. It responded really well to a an application of
10-10-10 fertilizer last spring and doubled in size, spreading further into
the path at the base of a large rock.

The photograph just shows a portion of the patch.

Chris
