RE: Helenium autumnale


I have grown Helenium autumnale in east central Illinois, zone 5b, where
the summers can be hot and very humid and the winters pretty cold and
sometimes wet.  It is a reliable perennial here.  Maybe the raised bed
is too dry and too lean for it????
