Re: European Geraniums

The European balcony geraniums are either an ivyleaf type (Pelargonium
peltatum), or a type called the Balcon geranium (which I believe to be a
sterile hybrid between P. peltatum and another P species, probably P
tongaense). I am aware of three Balcon colors (Lilac, Princess = pink,
King = red). A commercial geranium propagating house (Oglevee's,
Connellsville, PA) does most of the propagation in the U.S. Any good
greenhouse should be able to purchse them either directly through Oglevee's
or through a greenhouse supply company, since they all sell Oglevee
cuttings.
