Re: Mulching over bulbs and perennials

I have mulched my beds for the last eight years adding new mulch every second
year and have never had a problem with my bulbs not being able to break the
surface. I don't remove the mulch in the fall but I do make sure that the
mulch is not piled around the crowns of the perennials and shrubs because it
promotes rot.
