I just returned from 10 days vacation in Central America. When I left there
were 2 feet of snow on the ground. I returned this weekend to discover every
scrap of snow GONE, and amazingly crocus and snowdrops in bloom in my garden.
In Ottawa, this is close to a miracle! I'm sure winter has at least one last
trick up his sleeve for this year, but what joy to see my bulbs and perennials
sprouting in the first week of April!
