Now Ladies and Gents..........why would we want to go to another site to
discuss potting media.....by the way, Media is what it is, as most of it has
no soil.....this media is primary and of upmost importance to most of
us....both in seeds and propagation......recent tech points to media having
at least some composted material in it....usually wood product.....in most
towns this is made or most accurately derived from
yard waste and wood waste w/, if you consider the Northwest, a large amount
of forest waste.....other areas have to rely on yard and Dump waste.....in
addition to this...more and more coconut fiber in the form of coconut bricks
is being used....this saves on peat
moss which is a debatable renewable resource......
Anyway...it seems to be pertinate from
where I'm standin....
