Margaret,
Just recently we had a clematis grower speak to our hort club with a
wonderful slide show and list. I have a list of about 40 group C. Pruning
group A you
prune after bloom as they bloom on last years wood and B blooms with large
flowers on last years growth and small on this years so pruning is confusing
to me. I notice when I was looking at clematises at the nursery that they
stated on the label which pruning group they were in.
