You should be able to find out that information at your County Extension
Agency office or, more probably, your state's local Conservation office.
Alabama has information resources available as an online presence at
http://www.cptr.ua.edu/alabama.htm
The people featured at
http://entropy.me.usouthal.edu/harbinger/xv/970204/nature.html should be
able to give you good information about successful wildflower transplanting
techniques and good wildflowers for your area.
***A Plea***
Do you use herbal products like ginseng or goldenseal? If so, would you
please make sure the products you use are legally collected?
