Re: Perennial Plant Exchange

Lisa:
Our garden club just got through with a plant sale in town. We live in a
small town (2036) however, there are two garden clubs. One is a more or less
society, state registered, social club and the other (ours) is a hands on
kind of club. We have now had a sale for the third year in a row and people
are beginning to come to our sale more because of the following: We have
knowledgeable people to help them, our plants are well labeled with names
and growing instructions, they are sorted in areas of "like kinds" and
organized. We are getting the name out and the reputation for unusual plants
instead of the "same old things". I loved the master gardener exchange when
we lived in Kansas. Here in Missouri there is no program that is near to
where I live. I do miss it. Good success with your exchange. Jean
