Agreed. And I've also heard its the wet as much
as the cold that ruins them. I think they're
native to Mexico? which explains that.

Kali- In my experience, no amount of mulch
will winter them over in your zone. Just
lift them after the foliage blackens, and store
them in sawdust. Anyone else?
