Datura metaloides (our native white with lilac tints Datura) may be a
perennial or an annual... depending on conditions. It is available from Plants
of the southwest ---www.plantsofthesouthwest.com

There is also D. sanguinea available from Thompson and Morgan seeds... (a seed
supplier based in England) and those are reported to be hardy in Scotland. I
have grown these as a houseplant... they were not happy as houseplants.

White Flower Farms has Brugmansia (a tropical perennial) that comes in white,
pink & yellow.
