I suggest that when you look at cans, take a look at how the handle is
formed.  I have one watering can with a cylindrical handle and it is very
comfortable to carry.  Another has a half-cylinder handle (i.e. the top
part is cut-away), so that when the can is full, the edges of the metal dig
into my fingers and its not very comfortable!  Also look for one that has a
screw-on/off head -- the part with the holes in it.  Otherwise, you'll get
pieces stuck in the spout and the entire thing will clog and you won't be
able to get the head off to clean it.
