In my experience, several applications of Roundup will NOT get rid of
it. Maybe a bomb would. Nothing else we have tried will kill it.
Pulling it out, including every last bit of root, won't do it. It is
incredibly fast and aggressive, and has roots that are strong and long
and ferocious, and it also self-sows. It strangles everything. But it
is relatively pretty.

<< Aegopodium podagaria 'Variegata' >>
I'm glad someone finally suggested Aegopodium, common name here in
Michigan is
Bishop's Weed. There is a plain green form in addition to the
variegated one.
This is one tough plant so be careful where you plant it. It will
invade your
lawn and the only way to get rid of it is several applications of Round
Up.
It spreads by underground runners and can pop up several feet away from
the
original planting. The flowers look like 'Queen Annes Lace'. White
Flower
Farms used to sell it. It is very invasive! Donna Adams in Detroit,
