var. bishops weed, my favorite plant last year...

Wish I was kidding. A friend had it as a foot wide border between their
house and the grass, no shrubs. It looked great. He said his wife planted a
few plants of it several years ago, and it did well. (no laughing please!)
He never had a problem with it, he would just mow up against it and
everything was great.
He gave me several pieces to try. I planted it in the garden last spring.
It took a while to take, and I was afraid I might lose it. "That was last
year..." This year it spread over 2 feet away, and you are all telling me
how much fun I can look forward too. ;-)
It will join the various mints and the 'hot tuna' in large pots! I'm
planning on using a trick a friend mentioned for english ivy.
Double the dose of roundup(starting with the regular concentrate), and add
a teaspoon of Dawn dishwashing liquid as a 'sticker'. He said that worked
well on his ivy problems. Will let you know how it turns out...
