Re: Queen Anne's Lace (Wild carrot)




Carrying this thread just a bit further, regular carrots planted in the
garden and allowed to go to seed produce the same type of flower as
Queen Anne's Lace.  A local plant producer always leaves a few in the
edges of her display gardens.  They are lovely and only about 18 - 20
inches tall.  Some of our Queen Anne's Lace gets above four feet.  In
reply to Don's query, I am not sure if these have the dark center.  I'll
keep that in mind when I visit her garden this year.  Happy Easter to
