Why not use Metacrawler? It searches Altavista simultaneously with
Yahoo, Lycos, and seven other major search engines. Use it a few times
and you'll realize that as good as each of the major search engines is,
none of them are as good as all of them put together in Metacrawler!
And it's just as fast, too, as any one of them.

I have the best luck with alta vista. Just plug in the name of the
plant you
are looking for and it finds all the sites with photos, etc. and you'll
find
an online source I am sure. In fact, I use alta vista for just about
everything any more.
