Kris,
This sounds like a variegated arabis (Arabis causcasica 'Variegata or Arabis
ferdinandi-coburgi 'Variegata'). Unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures
on the web. Maybe there is someone out there with knowledge of a web site
with pictures.
