Repost - Corydalis flexuosa 'Blue Panda'

I'd like to place a question out for the list: Where do you have your best
luck in growing C. flexuosa 'Blue Panda' or 'China Blue'?

I've made 2 attempts to grow these and while they seem to grow OK during
the growing season, I've always lost them over the winter. Do they need
any particular protection? I'm in Milwaukee, Zone 5.

There is a local nursery that will be carrying them this spring, and I'd
like to make 1 last attempt.

Thanks,
