Surprisingly enough, I was flipping through the channels and came
across this plant on HGTV. Seems there's a variegated form that
they were touting, but it still flowers. I would assume that it's
not as vigorous as the straight species (which probably means that it only
takes 5 gallons of RoundUp instead of 10 to kill it), but I would
think that seeds would still be a problem.

Experimented with it last year in flowerboxes lining the flat roof
atop the garage. Worked okay with geraniums and added some greenery,
but apparently it's not totally invulnerable... Forgot to water a
lot, and they went crispy. :)

If anyone wants some (of the non-variegated), my whole parkway is full.
(I'm just kidding -- if you don't have it, be thankful).

Chris
