Does anyone have any experience growing inula? Is there a common name? I
live in zone 6a, hot and humid summers, amended clay soil. Thanks!

Inula is a medium sized group of plants with over 130 species. Some are large
and coarse and others are medium sized.
Most do well in dry soils in full sun. I have a smaller one, And if my memory
serves me right it's call Inula salicina. I love this plants for its soft
textures shiny leaves and small yellow daisy like flowers that top the
foliage off. It is not weedy and long lived.
I have grown mine in light shade for a few years and have been pleased with
it.
