Re your Woe 1, asking about garden thugs:
My pet peeve is aegepodium (bishops weed). The unvariegated version is
exceptionally vicious. I spend about half my gardening hours pulling it
out, and I am losing the battle nonetheless.
But some of you have mentioned that you find monarda and physotegia (sp?)
invasive, and I can't get them to take off in my hilly semi-shady yard. So
this must be very much an individual matter.

woe is me twice
Woe 1
Where were you when I laid out cash for my Glechoma last year? : ) It's
variegated but appears to revert to the green. Is it weedy only because
it grows fast and roots along the way or also because it reseeds?
Fortunately I planted it in a pot. Are there other plants like this I
need to know about besides Kenilworth Ivy=Cymbalaria muralis(reseeds and
spreads vigorously)?
Woe 2
