Hi all,
Larkspur are a challenge here in Florida. I had limited success until I spoke
with a local expert who advised freezing the seed for 24 hours prior to
sowing, which we do in Septmeber - October as we seldom if ever get temps low
enough to damage it. After freezing the seed germination increased and the
plants themselves were better structured. We have had a spring filled with
blooms. Next year, I will freeze all the larkspur seeds.
