RE: Rose Suckers (the pun is just too much!)

Therese Bugnet is really beautiful and usually one of the first roses to
bloom in my garden. I love the purple winter stems too and last year
planted an early blooming clematis, (macropetala - a pink variety) that will
bloom well in advance of the rose on those bare purple stems. The clematis
is only about 1' tall this year, but it's blooming and I think it will be a
nice combination.

For mine is just a little old fashioned garden where the
flowers come together to praise the Lord and teach all
who look upon them to do likewise.

I AM in shape. ROUND is a shape!
