Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about my inula I just
purchased. After examining the tag that came with the plant, I see that I
have the controllable 12" version. And since I planted this in the border
next to a bird feeder, I'm glad I didn't end up with the huge seven foot
monster!
Am I correct that this plant will start to bloom about mid-summer here in
zone 6a? I'm trying to purchase plants that will give me some color mid to
late summer instead of having one main flush in June. Are they good for
cutting? The blooms look unusual enough to make a bouquet rather
interesting -- sort of like a shaggy aster.
