Re: larkspur

Devon

my larkspurs that I planted back in the early, early spring are doing
well right now, but we do have some very hot and humid weather in this
area. My sister-in-law has lots and lots of them and they are always
beautiful every year. What I'm concerned about it wheather or not they
will bloom and drop seed before it get so hot. I do have them in the
shade, but they also get some sun, however the sun they do get is from
about 11:00 to maybe 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon. NOT GOOD but I
didn't think about that when I planted the seed. I've already got
another spot picked out for my next planting. You learn by your
mistakes. I'm not giving up.
Hollyhawks. I've got 2 nine packs planted and they are about 1 1/2
in. right now. I'm gonna transplant them into larger pots and let them
grow until about Sept. then put them into the ground. My neice did
this last year and some of hers made it. she said that they are back
again this year. So........ wish me luck.
