Hi, Barbara...
Lamiastrum does well for me on difficult slopes, along with lamium and
vinca minor. It actually seems to spread somewhat more slowly than the
other two. I first put in a few plants about 8 years ago, have divided the
original clumps for other areas, and so far have had no problem with it
trying to take over the whole yard.
