Red Hot Pokers

I bought some of these plants new last year.  Didn't flower, but I halfway
expected that.  I planted them in a spot that had a lot of sun...that is,
until the trees leafed out.  They grew well, but didn't flower.  I am
thinking of moving them to my new raised bed that gets a lot more sun, but
they are already up 9-12 inches.  Is it safe to move them now or should I
wait?
