RE: japanese beetles/asiatic garden beetles

Asiatic garden beetles are attracted to night lights.  If you leave a light on
with a kiddie pool of water under it, would they blunder and fall into the water
... and drown???  If so, add a little bit of dishsoap to the mix to break water
tension and help them go under.
