RE: Phygelius (sp?)

Susan, I have P. 'Trewidden Pink' and P. 'Yellow Trumpet'. I had them in
pots for two years and planted them in the garden this spring. I have read
recently that they can cause problems with suckers spreading far and wide,
but have not had them in the ground long enough to verify this. Both
plants are in full sun and appear to survive drought.

This plant is new in my garden and I'm quite impressed.  I know the books
say sun and I think dry conditions are preferred?  How much shade does this
plant tolerate in your experience?  How fast does it spread/ultimate clump
size?  Thanks for any input.
