There are two really first class public gardens in Vancouver that deserve
visiting.
Van Dusen Gardens on Oak Street is large and beautiful. It has, I think, a
particularily nice collection of trees.
The University of B.C. Garden is also very good and older. The alpine garden
is huge and nicely laid out, although this is not the best time of the year
for alpines. The vegetable and herb gardens are fun.
