Hello Al,
I have not had the seeds germinate for me unless they have been out weathering
over in the cold frames. nothing ventured, nothing gained... give some a try and
see what happens. however, you should be a ware that seed grown will not really be
"Husker Red". That comes from division or controlled pollination. Open pollinated
seed will produce a lot of variation in the amount of color in the foliage... and
that is the part that makes HR, HR.
