Re: Cannas and wisteria and roses oh my

The Cannas I planted were City of Portland, Wyoming and a "Giant Canna
Mix". I did also plant some smaller cannas and surprise, several are
blooming now so I have hope!
My slight slope actually faces west and gets all day sun and lots of
water. I am going to mulch them well late fall and hope for the best
next year - there is always next year.
As for wisteria, I want to take some cuttings for myself this fall. Any
suggestions as to where to take them from (leaf cluster or end of
growing plant?)
I have never started my own plants from propagation so I am a total dolt
about it. I have plans for wistarias, curly willow, hydrangea, huskers
red penstemons, daphne, clematis, climbing rose etc.
Also, the climbing blaze roses that cover the lattice on one side of my
deck, and which I let go to rose hips this time of year, appear to have
seeds on the rose hips. Can I plant these? How? I am building a new
gazebo this year and want to adorn it with lots and lots of climbers so
it will be colorful all spring and summer.
Ideas please!!!!!!!
