Re: Penstemon "Husker Red" seed

Hello Valerie,
I honestly can not give you decent answer on all Penstemon and how
freely they do or do not hybridize. Not enough experience with a large
number of them. I have stayed mostly with our local natives and they seem to
come true from seed. The hybrids I have tried in the past have not done well
in my garden. I usually end up loosing them to our wet winters.
