Hello Gerry,
We are using 'Snow Queen' in landscaping at the back of the house. Put them in
last fall. supposed to remain a bit smaller than many of the other cultivars.
Going to be a while before they grow enough to fill out the allotted space. Had a
hard time locating 5 gallon size around here.
I had the honor of being taken into the propagation house at a nursery we
visited couple of weeks ago. One of the shrubs they were working with ....drumroll
please.... was ... tada!.... 'Snowflake'. Six shrubs in 5 gallon pots ready to be
struck. They were in bloom and I never seen such panicles... enormous! I am now
supposed to be at the top of his A#1 list. Of course it will be small cuttings if
he is successful. Meanwhile, we are looking as well. He would not say where they
came from as he had such a hard time getting them and will probably order more....
if he can.
Don't give up.... they are out there.
