Re: Residual effects of Roundup


I appreciate all your comments on the possible effects of RoundUp. I
think we will not be using this as a solution for clearing our weed
field.  Other methods may take longer but I'll feel better about not
adding chemicals to our soil.

Two other questions (slightly off topic):  Have you had any experience
with using products from Gardens Alive?  Some friends swear by their WOW
products for lawns & other products.  I'm mystified that they don't
provide information on the composition of their fertilizers (no N-P-K
ratios). So I hesitate to order.

Second (really off topic) we are inheriting 24 apple trees, beautifully
maintained and heavy bearing, some antique varieties among them.  They
require spraying for good fruit.  Here we go with chemicals again!  I
would rather get rid of the apple trees than add more poisons -- is
there a site that makes organic recommendations for orchards?  I see the
Gardens Alive people also have some products for this.
