I've also had horrendous luck with 'Moonbeam' here in E. Central Illinois
and up in the suburbs of Chicago. If I plant it in shadier sites the
plant doesn't bloom much and eventually dies back, but in sunnier locations
it dries out and only sends up a couple of sprigs. Most plants haven't
lasted more than a year for me...
