Shame on Moonbeam. Try spring division with water soluble fertilizer to push
it along. Moonbeam does not bloom here until mid-July and remain in blooms
until frost. True, it is always listed as a zeric plant but spring watering
is necessary to form flowering shoots. A much stronger and lower care plant
is Golden Showers. Golden Showers does not bloom for a long season. About
three weeks and it is done. Zagreb is good too but shorter than Moonbeam.
All three bloom on the compost pile here, I wonder why they are not happy in
the midwest. Coreopsis is a full sun plant.
