I do not "hate" this daylily- it just has week stems and does not look good
in a pot after being taken to the market. I have had a few plants that
behave the same way- the stems lay out over the pots causing them to tip
over. One was a spider type that I still have people coming around saying
its there favorite Daylily but it was such a pain to work with.

I also must confess I am a bit jaded, over the last 15 years I have sold over
630 different Daylily varieties and after looking at that many different
plants, it has to look pretty good to interest me. Sorry to say I have
become fixed in my ways and thin flowers like those on Catherine Woodberry
(SP?) ( the color is nice, in it's own way) do not interest me, I am not a
fan of doubles or rebloomers ether.

Your correct that more information is need by us people growing Daylilies
farther north. Evergreens are not going to do too well and when one is
looking for late season and reblooming types its good to know if the flowers
will open after a cool night, since many plants will not open the flowers if
the air temps are below F 60 at night. Its no good to have rebloomers in the
late summer and fall that never open their flowers.
