hosta question

Ok- I decided that I got to much sun today! Over heated... even with
taking breaks inside to cool off....
Noticed that my hosta (Tokudama- Love Pat- well that's what they said
when I bought it) which happens to be in full sun next to the pond....
appears to be setting seeds???? Never known them to do that, but what do
I know... Definitely looks like a seed pod, although not ready. Even
broke one open just to see--- can't say as I ever noticed them on the
plant before.
So hosta experts... what's next? Save um, destroy them, or ??
