The third person supposedly died of Pick's Disease, which is often misdiagnosed CJD. The article in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel featured a photo of one of the late individuals in his "Trophy Room", with walls lined with the heads of victims. Judging from some of the resultant Letters to the Editor, the story elicited limited sympathy.Over 100 people over a period of about 10 years were invited to wild game feasts put on by the same few men. Two died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (very similar to what mad cow disease does to cows, only in people) and one died diagnosed with another neurological disorder. The odds of this happening in a general population of the 100 men who ate these feast is astronomical.
