Re: OT peaches

The best peach I ever had was a gigantic beautiful white peach I bought from
street vendor in Hiroshima. It was probably picked that morning. The
bigger white peaches are better and are sweeter and seem to have more fiber
which is great. They lack the peachy taste we love but are very juicy. Why
are they not subject to the rots or the mealyness? Are they saturated with
fungicides? Peaches have a higher concentration of insecticides and
fungicides than any other fruits. When I can't get decent reguar peaches I
can depend on the white ones. If they loook good they are and if they look
so-so they are so-so. The golden ones look great partly because of the
special lighting they use in produce departments. They don't look as good
once you get home. Does anybody know if you can make anything out of
Poincirus fruit? My tree is loaded with fruit and in the fall it is very
aromatic.
