RE: Lobelias


They are wonderful in a bog area... or even as an annual in water
feature such as a half barrel or pot. I have both, the red and blue, but
prefer the red... those cardinal flowers look lovely peaking out between
other plantings, or soaring above them. And for the record, mine are in
full sun and doing just fine.

I have had problems over wintering them, but found that if you do
nothing ( no mulching etc.) they seem to return at a much better rate.
