Thanks, Vivien.
I think they do like moist soil from what I've read...a soccer ball
incident just might discourage any plant:-) My A. cordata seems to
have some type of rust on the leaves, which I'm wondering about -
again, could be the hideous hot weather or something. Otherwise,
mine seems OK and is just starting to bloom...we shall see what
happens next year.
