What plant is Dallas Blues?
I have that same scabiosa, Cheryl, growing with caryopteris 'Dark Knight' and a dark pink Japanese anemone.

I have a yellow scabiosa (Scabiosa ochroleuca) scattered about the
gardens - it appears completely unaffected by the heat and lack of
water!
One happy accident has it in front of Dallas Blues - a quiet
combination of palest yellow and blue!
I will find my way clear to snapping a shot of that today!
