In my garden I have a Blue Globe thistle (Echinops) sitting in the shade
of a gray birch tree. In front of the thistle are Blue Umbrellas and
Patriot Hostas. A lovely and photogenic combination to say the least.
Which plant is suffering the most during our current drought? The Blue
Globe thistle (Echinops). Go figure!
