Colored foliage plants

All these "new" plants we are discussing Plectranthus MintLeaf
Marginata(wonderful trailing plant) Plectranthus (wonderful gray felt
leaf, Strobilanthes dyerianus "Persian Shield" are enjoying a new
life(along with the Joseph's Coats) as bedding plants now. We visited
the trial gardens in Knoxville this week and 150 people turned out for
guided tours. Most of the color in the garden was from tropical
plants. Very showy and desirable. But buying each plant or plants new
in the spring would take all my plant budget(and I must have more
daffodils and small trees and cyclamens), so I start small pots to
overwinter. This year I had lots of the gray Plectranthus in each large
pot. I thought the pots were outstanding but then most mothers think
their children all. I am starting my cuttings now because they do not
root well in the fall.
