Now folks, I'm getting a little confused.
First, I can't find Strobilanthes in Roslyn's 2002 catalog.
Second, in Graf's Exotica, Stroblanthes dyerianus is listed as a tropical
from Burma, certainly not a temperate plant. And it is known as Persian
Shield.
Third, I have grwon it several times and it definitely doesn'r winter over in
zone 6b. It will carry over inside and accordind to the person who gave it
to me,"It loves water/moisture. a great tropical pot plant for the
patio....and
fourth...are we talking about two different plants here or??????
Let's investigate and educate.....
Walter in Bucks County...no measurable rainfall since some date in late May.
Tuesday am we got between 1/4 and 1/2 inch....oh, 3/8.....izzat measurable?
