Royal Red? It is a purple with a red tone to it, versus a blue tone.

I've started working at my favorite nursery part-time, and they have an
amazingly vibrant, radiating purple butterfly bush variety for sale - I
don't remeber the variety, except that it had RED in the name (but I didn't
see anything that resembled red - just eye-catching purple !). I'll check
the variety name when I go back Friday, but based on a web search, I think
it might be 'Royal Red'. (If you do a google image search on buddleia royal
red you'll see a wide variety of colors...).
(Working at the nursery part-time means that I get to check out all the
plants and new arrivals while they pay me, but of course I spend most of my
paycheck there, even with the employee discount. But I'm having a great
time, even though it can be very hard work !)
