Blue Salvia

I have learned the hard way. Plant your salvia the way it was growing.
If it was growing in a pot plant in moist but not wet soil. In
Tennessee it is found growing in the wet ditches. They do not always
live long. You should try to get a good seed set on your plant and then
you can sow them where ever you would like and, hopefully, they too will
like it there. They do seem to come up where they like it but just a
little sun does them just fine. The red cardinalis is everywhere now.
I know that is not good design but when the hummingbirds come I do not
care about the design because they will not be blooming in that spot for
long and the birds and butterflies are worth having the tall plants out
in front of all the others.
