Re: red cardinalis, was Re: Blue Salvia


I have mine in a bog area of my pond. For years it was just there. This year it got crowded out by everything around it. Seems to like it better, as it put up a very tall red blooming stem to get past everything else.

Having said that, this is a very strange weather pattern for here this year. Hot, humid and wet now, spring was cold and wet.
